The workshop sessions as part of the University Capacity Building Program (UCBP)

On October 6, Professor Jennifer Murphy Romig of Emory University School of Law led workshop sessions for faculty members at Free University of Tbilisi’s Law School as part of the University Capacity Building Program (UCBP). The workshops covered the following topics:
- If You Can’t Beat Them, Join Them: Leveraging AI in Law Teaching
- Best Practices for Group Projects in Lawyering Skills
The sessions were moderated by Giorgi Beraia, a lecturer at Free University’s School of Law.
Jennifer Murphy Romig is a Professor of Practice at Emory University School of Law, where she has been a faculty member since 2001. Her teaching and professional interests include legal writing, legal research, legal advocacy, professional ethics, and social media for lawyers. She has authored and contributed to numerous publications, including the book “Legal Literacy and Communication Skills: Working with Law and Lawyers.”
Following the workshop sessions, participants attended a cooking class at the Culinary Academy, where they prepared and enjoyed Georgian dishes together.
