String Theory

Rustaveli GNSF project: Integrability in string and quantum field theories

The research program of the project is devoted to the investigation of integrability aspects of string and quantum field theories in the context of the AdS/CFT correspondence. The research will be concentrated mainly on the AdS part described by string theory. The aim is to explore the integrable structures of the classical theory and extend them on the quantum level by the methods of 2-dimensional integrable field theory. The investigation will be connected to the full AdS/CFT set-up, as well as to more simplified models.
